The location was great. It is 10 minutes down the street from a subway stop and isn't too far from the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Sq (maybe 30 minutes?). Just around the corner is Nan Luo Gu Lane, a hutong with lots of restaurants and fun shops. It is also not far from Ghost Street, an area packed with restaurants.

This hotel is in an ideal location. We booked it because of this and were pleasantly surprised when the hotel turned out to be clean and comfortable. Though the staff speak little English, they were helpful and efficient. A nice advantage was the elevator. The room was a bit small but big enough for the two of yes. Comfortable though not lavish. Nor, warm or homey. But just fine. There is a television in the room, but we don't watch a lot so not a problem most channels were in Chinese. There was internet access. The bathroom was small but clean. We had a lining behind the curtain which was a nice feature if you want to sleep in a bit after sunrise. I would highly recommend the hotel if you are looking for value for the money.
